Charged for a job overseas? NZ courts say that can still be illegal
The Employment Relations Authority has ordered Huy Quang Tran to pay more than $203,000 after finding unlawful employment premiums of $30,000 each paid in Vietnam, plus wage and holiday-pay breaches affecting three Vietnamese migrant workers.
